Our Mission:

To proclaim "A New Way to Live!" to those who desire more of God!

"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me – watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly." (Matthew 11:28-30, The Message translation)

We don't have to live our lives tired, worn out, or burned out! There's a new way to live! A different way! A way that is light and free, in the unforced rhythms of God's grace!

Actually, it's an ancient way – a way that dates all the way back to the Garden of Eden – and God is calling out to us to return to the ancient paths (Jeremiah 6:16)...

For years, I have faced a dilemma every time I read Matthew 11. My heart desperately wanted to live this way, and I thought I was doing my best to answer Jesus' call to "Come to me all you who are weary and heavy laden" – I had quiet times, worship times, study times, prayer times – and all the while, I knew that I was not really living freely and lightly.

The key for Laura and I came as God brought us to the end of ourselves, and took us through the "valley of the shadow of death."(Psalm 23) We had to face "death", and see it all around us, in order to be willing to literally cry out to Him for fresh life in our souls (Ezekiel 37). We dropped everything we were carrying, and came to Him. . . and waited.

He heard our cries, and put a new song in our mouths (Psalm 40). He enlightened the eyes of our hearts to know Him better and to hear His voice more clearly: to do what He says to do, in order to live life freely and lightly. And He put a fire in us (Isaiah 6) to go and proclaim refreshing and new life to those who are tired, worn out, or burned out. And they are everywhere – Christians and non-Christians alike. The world is full of "dry bones." And they need someone to proclaim new life to them.
